IMG_6071 Who would have known that the 8th San Francisco Bay Area Peer Momentum networking event would have been about celebrating life and leadership on a rooftop? In this post find a link to the amazing commentary video of Dr Jill Bolte Taylor who is a Neuroanatomist that had an opportunity few brain scientists would wish for: One morning, she realized she was having a massive stroke...

The paradox of what, you ask?  Well, how about the paradox of feeling both “powerful” and “kind”; of having both “patience” and a “fire in your belly”?  Mis-matching concepts in our understanding that makes us sit back and say, “Huh?”  Mis-matching concepts that hinder our desire to move forward in our lives.

We are growing, yearning, efforting human beings, so sometimes we fall down.  Fortunately, we have the ability to get back up again!  There are occasions, though, when it takes us longer than other times to climb back onto that horse and keep going.

We are back! Last week has been a roller coaster ride. Great speakers like Less Brown showed us how emotion is king on stage. They took us from laughter to tears in a matter of seconds.

The greatest part of the event has been to meet so many new people. Over 95 new persons have expressed their desire to join the support group. We have officially started to accept members outside of the San Francisco Bay area. We have now members from Hawaii, Canada, Holland, England, and all over the states.

Please join us in welcoming our new peers.
